The KC Heartland Campaign kicked off 2021 driving national awareness of our region as a top place to live and build a career.

Recently Jill McCarthy, senior vice president of corporate attraction at KCADC, joined Steve Tutt, director of business development and marketing at HL Restoration, on the HL Restoration Impacting Midwest Industries vlog series, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the KC region’s new business and talent attraction efforts.

Last week, the Kansas City Area Development Council officially welcomed Lisa Ginter, chief executive officer of CommunityAmerica Credit Union, as senior co-chair of the KCADC Board of Directors. Ginter is joined by incoming co-chair Brett Gordon, chairman of the board at McCownGordon Construction, and by treasurer Brian Roberts, chief diversity officer and director of operations at Lockton Companies.
